The needs of the people of Africa are almost overwhelming. *Almost*. But now, more than ever before, the rest of the world is stepping in to help and it *is* making a difference. People like Bono, George Clooney, Jimmy Carter, Bob Geldof, Nelson Mandela. Dr. Jeffrey Sachs. Bishop Desmond Tutu. Bill Clinton.

These people and so, so many more are working to bring the attention of everyone to the plight of the African people. And, they're doing this because they know that, while world leaders and entertainers and corporate giants can do their part to help--it's also going to take caring and support from each of us before the nightmare effects of disease and poverty can be overcome and a future of hope can belong to the children of Africa.
