Cindy joined Josh's fan club in 2007 and quickly became active in the charity work. Her first project for GFC was to bring forward and help launch the "Raise 27" Fundraiser, which had a goal of raising $27,000 by February 27th for Josh's 27th birthday to help the children of Siyawela. Thanks to Cindy's efforts, her amazing team and worldwide Grobanites who contributed to the fundraiser, this project raised $44,227 for Siyawela!

On Raise 27, Cindy said, "It changed me. It allowed me to experience first hand what loving and compassionate fans Josh has. Everyone came together with an enthusiasm and willingness to give their all to help these children. To come away from that and know you can make a difference in the world, changes your life."

In October of 2008, Cindy established "Team Race" (with Kelly, Sue, Joella and Judy) to launch the "Race to a Million" project. This involves working with GFC, GFA and Grobanites Worldwide to help GFC reach the first $1,000,000 raised by Josh's fans for The Josh Groban Foundation.

Cindy says, "It is such an honor to be part of this. To work with great friends to recap the history, compassion and generosity of Josh's fans worldwide that have contributed to this monumental and moving event. To know we can impact change and that the funds we raise can be in no more loving or capable hands than the Groban family is an indescribable feeling."

Cindy lives in Maine and works full time for The Northeast Broadcasting Company and The River 92.5 WXRV, an independent & solar powered radio station for the Boston and NH markets. She is a graduate of UMass and The Limerick College of Art and Technology, Limerick Ireland where she majored in photography and painting.
