Sample Crochet Patterns:

New Arrival Hat (Crochet)

Directions are for Small/Medium; changes for Medium/Large are in parentheses.

Light Worsted Weight Yarn: Amount- Hat: 1 (1 1/2 ) ounces
Crochet hooks: U.S. Size G-6 [4 mm] and 8-H [5mm]

Rnd 1:  With larger hook, ch 2; 5 sc in 2nd ch from hook; join with a sl st to first sc – 5 sc.
Rnd 2:  Ch 3, 3 (2) dc in same st as joining, [4 (3) dc in next sc] 4 times;
join with a sl st to top of ch-3 – 20 (15) sts.
Rnd 3:  Ch 3, 1 (2) dc in same st as joining, [2 (3) dc in next dc] 19 (14) times; join – 40 (45) sts.
Rnds 4-11 (4-12): Ch 3, dc in next dc and in each dc around; join. Turn at end of last rnd.
Brim – Rnds 12-14 (13-15): Ch 1, sc in each st around; join. Fasten off at end of last rnd. Weave in ends.
Make a small (one inch) pom pom and attach to top of hat.
This is a very simple pattern and you can make is smaller or larger by changing the type of yarn and size of crochet hook

CWL Baby Beanie

(I used a light worsted wt yarn and size G hook)

Ch 5, join with sl st to form a ring

Row 1) Ch 2, dc in same st; 2 dc in each dc around; join with sl st (12 dc)

Row 2) Ch 2, dc in same st; 2 dc in each dc around; join (24 dc)

Row 3) Ch 2, dc in same st; *dc in next 2 dc, 2 dc in next dc, (repeat from * around)

Row 4) Ch 2, dc in same st; *dc in next 3 dc, 2 dc in next dc, (repeat from * around)

Row 5) Ch 2, dc in same st; *dc in next 4 dc, 2 dc in next dc, (repeat from * around)

Row 6) Ch 2, turn, hdc in each dc around

Row 7) Ch 1, sc in each st around

Row 8 – 15) Repeat Rows 6 and 7

Row 16) Ch 1, turn, sc around

Row 17 – 18) Ch 1, sc around

Fasten off

Ruffle Variation: Row 18) Ch 1, *sc in next st, sk next st, 5 dc in next st, sk next st, sc in next st (repeat from * around. Fasten off.
