"We were absolutely delighted to receive the hats, blankets, pillowcases, totes and dolls for the patients of Childrens Hospital of Los Angeles. Your gift had a very positive impact on our young children who face difficulties most adults would find challenging. We all enjoyed seeing your visually stunning gifts! It was so obvious they were made with special love and care. Childrens Hospital cares for some of the sickest children in the world. We are fortunate to have extremely gifted doctors and nurses at the bedsides of these patients performing true miracles in their pursuit of healing. But to us, the real heart of the hospital is in friends like you who give for the sake of giving - asking nothing in return. We are honored that you chose to send these special
gift items to our little ones in Los Angeles. Please accept our gratitude for your thoughtfulness and generosity. And thank you for helping the children and parents find their smiles once again." Children's Hospital of Los Angeles. "Ditto here. I loved working on the project, but was sad to think that children had to be seriously ill to receive our gifts. Hopefully, the little totes and pillow cases will brighten their days in the hospital." Mary Ellen
"On behalf of all the staff, the babies and parents of the Neonatal Intensive Care and Critical Care Unit of Childrens Hospital of Los Angeles, I just wanted to express our appreciation for the donations of baby hats and beanies your organizations have provided us in October 2007.
It is becoming all too rare these days to find a group of people that go to great lengths to make life a little easier and more normal for the families experiencing personal crises that are not highlighted by media attention. You have given us something we most definitely need. Whenever we look at and use the infant hats, we will think of you with fondness and heartfelt gratitute."

![]() I can honestly say that these wonderful projects have been food for my soul. Last year something deep inside me said that I needed to get involved in some charitable projects. I really looked around me and realized that I might not have a lot, but there were so many people out there with less, that could benefit from what I might be able to do. SInce I don't have a lot of money, what I could offer of myself was time. I get a rewarding feeling deep inside knowing that I am sharing part of myself with others in need. Thank you to everyone involved. You are all wonderful!!! Cathy Braunlin |
"I am both thrilled and humbled to be able to participate in the Covered With Love project that makes beanies and blankets for our nationwide Children's and Shriner's Hospitals. Josh's music has inspired myself and so many talented, giving and caring women across our country and abroad who want to do this work for the kids. Being the aunt of a child we lost to cancer, who was a patient at the Women's and Children's Hospital of Buffalo, NY, it is only fitting that I should want to be a participant in this wonderful heartwarming project. The need is there, and it is a way for me to give back in Josh's name to something that is very precious and near and dear to my heart. I am fortunate to have met so many wonderful ladies who are participating in this project. Thank you Josh and your entire family for allowing us to make a difference for the wee ones." |
