Blankets
The Covered With Love Team has added blankets for delivery to Shriners Hospitals and Childrens Hospitals. If you knit, crochet or sew, you just might find this to be the project for you.
Blankets are to be baby size and lap size: 36" X 36" or 45" X 45" if you are sewing and perhaps just a little off that size if you are knitting or crocheting, depending on your pattern.
Fabric may be cotton, cotton flannel, fleece, polyester and blends as long as there is NO WOOL.
They may be two-sided or one-sided, depending on the weight of the fabric and trimmed with binding or folded and bound edges. Quilting is also acceptable.
Fabric should be pre-washed to remove sizing and to maintain shape. Please use gentle detergents and unscented fabric softeners.
